Due to state mandated furloughs, the California Film Commission will be closed on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Fridays of each month. Due to the shortened work schedule, all permit applications must be submitted four (4) business days prior to the first prep/shoot day.
Insurance Requirements for Filming
Production companies must submit current insurance to the California Film Commission
(CFC). All certificates must name the State of California as an
additional insured. To better serve the film industry, the CFC has
